Are you ready to Partea? No, that’s not a typo—but rather, an enchanting new business that just hung it’s shingle out here in The Woodlands. Pretty Posh Parteas offers a really unique service. The charming owner, Mandy Neat, is from England and knows a thing or two about proper tea parties. She’s combined her love of the afternoon “tea”, her brilliant skills in the kitchen, her affinity for fine service ware, and her penchant for creating amusing gatherings to offer a service unlike any other around. Certainly, The Woodlands has first-rate caterers and party planning services but none that provide this authentic touch when it comes to tea parties. Mandy has curated vintage tea settings along with beautiful silverware and gorgeous linens all for hire that promise to make your next Partea an exquisite affair.

I have been the guest at several of her opening Parteas to photograph the events and I can say without hesitation that they are always fabulous. It’s a refreshing change to dress up (possibly even wear a hat, oh my!) and enjoy the simplicity of a tea and nice conversation. We are all so rushed with our daily duties, but a tea party creates an atmosphere of civility where you just…have…to…slow…down. We can savor the time with friends or family while enjoying uncommon treats like Mandy’s homemade-infused sugar cubes, her scrumptious scones with double heavy cream (because normal heavy cream just won’t due!) or her decadent pavlova. The pavlovas are definitely a not-to-miss option! Not only do they add flair and beauty to your table setting, but they are just really novel confections. These are not your typical party cakes.

Pretty Posh Parteas will help plan any type of event; from children’s tea parties, tea etiquette training, birthday parties, wedding or baby showers, intimate or grand affairs. Whatever the occasion, Mandy can help you plan something that is sure to delight your guests.
