As fall rolls around and everyone starts thinking about the holidays, my calendar fills up with familiar faces ready for new portraits. It’s always fun to catch up and as time marches on between our meetings, I see the effects of it in the little faces that have suddenly morphed into “big” kids. I see the “big” kids who now are busy teens, and the teens that somehow seem to have leapfrogged right to eminent high school graduates. Life doesn’t slow down does it? We have to hang on and enjoy the ride.
I have photographed the Meyer family for a couple of years now–back when they were a family of 5 just adding a new bundle of joy. They moved away but we always managed to sneak in photo sessions when they came back to see family. The past couple of years I have been blessed to watch their family blossom into a family of 7 (and soon to be 8!). Their move back brought lots of happiness to me personally. Not only did I manage to gain them as neighbors where I get to see them on a daily basis, but also because Bernadette is my go-to graphic designer. How lucky to have her and her amazing talent right next door for collaboration!! My clients can attest to her wonderful work as we have created custom holiday and graduation cards with her for the past 4 years. She does it all: business cards, printables of all sorts, branded products. While this post is really about her sweet kiddos, I thought I would give her business a little “whoot, whoot” too! With the holidays right around the corner, you can also find fun stocking stuffers or teacher gifts on her site. Visit Bernadette at Meyer Market Designs or follow her on her Facebook business page.
