It’s graduation day! I know it is a bittersweet time for many families right now. They are bursting with pride to see their child accomplishing a major milestone, yet it comes with some big changes for their families too. Many of them will be seeing their graduate wave goodbye as they head off to college or other adventures beyond these roads in TX. I am happy to have helped families capture portraits of their seniors this year. I hope the images hold wonderful memories for them of this special time. I always try to capture a few images during senior sessions of mom and dad with their senior. I love how they all make time for their portrait experience.  We talk about their year and reflect on all the highlights of their school career and about what is important to them in this moment. With the excitement of impending changes, it’s nice to make some space for these moments. I can always tell that the seniors are just as happy for the pictures and hugs as mom and dad are.

I congratulate these seniors — and all those graduating –and wish them abundant success and lives filled with meaning and inspiration.
