J. Hill | National Charity League Senior Recognition Portrait

I worked with Josie and her mom to capture her portrait for her Senior Recognition event with National Charity League (NCL). NCL is a national philanthropic organization for mothers and daughters to serve their communities together. The girls usually begin their NCL experience in 7th grade and when they graduate in 12th grade each chapter holds a recognition ceremony for the seniors to commemorate their journeys and successes. It is a formal affair with the girls typically wearing long gowns and each girl has an art canvas of her in her gown displayed at the event. My daughter and I also participate in NCL, so I know about this special event and portraits that are needed. I was more than happy to help them create a beautiful image of Josie. We also snuck in a few shots of mom and daughter to mark this special time in their lives. There are so many wonderful milestones that occur during senior year and this is certainly one of them; lots of smiles and tears celebrating their 6 year journey.
