We’ve got sunshine and warm temps down here in The Woodlands, TX but just in case you don’t have a reason to smile where you are, these sweet faces are sure to do the trick. I met up with the Meyer family the morning of young George’s first communion. Bernadette, mom to 6 kiddos, is a fantastic multitasker so why not add a photo session to their morning before heading to the church for the ceremony!
I have been photographing this family for about 5 years now and have even been blessed with capturing two of them as newborns. Every year the session is a different adventure and I love seeing them grow. Plus, come on, look at all the freckles!!!!! I don’t know if it was the park we explored or the lollipops that mom brought, but we had good humor all around and we got so many great photos. I have to say that Ms. Gemma, being the only girl, always seems to steal the show and this year was no different. It probably had a lot to do with her pretty pink parasol and her adorable headband, but don’t discount the gorgeous red hair. In that regard she has lots of competition from her brothers. However, the little man of the day, George, also had big smiles in every photo.
The best follow up was the picture Bernadette sent me the next day of baby Hank with Sharpie marks all over his face. And I mean, ALL over his face. It was fortunate timing and I didn’t have to put my Photoshop skills to the test. Whew!
